I have 3 VERY energetic kiddos and I am always trying to keep them busy...honestly, it's a lot easier for me to take them to activities rather than me plan the activities myself. So, I am constantly searching out things that I know my kids will enjoy or be open to trying. Here are a bunch of activities that all, one, or two of my kids are involved in.
Karate....my husband and I discovered this studio when we were trying to find something that would reinforce discipline and respect. Fortunately, this studio is just down the street from our home. The instructors are great, we've gotten to know all of them, and my kids have had a wonderful experience. I see my kids continuing to go there for the next few years.

We just started a new gym for gymnastics lessons...so far, so good. My second son loves that he's in a class just for boys. Before his class, he always says, "I'm so excited!" If you know my second son, he can be moody, so him being excited is always a good sign.
This gym is also more affordable than the other gym my kids were going to. The sibling discount is phenomenal...25% off. Other places only offer 10% off...so already this place gets a thumbs up from me.

My husband and I believe in education. My mom always said, "No one can ever take your education away!" That's for sure! Early on, we had our boys do Kumon...it got a bit hectic once our daughter was born, so we had to stop. But, I do think it was good for math enrichment. I was not impressed with their reading program, but I will be putting them back in for summer math enrichment.

My boys have just started a new reading enrichment program called Enopi. I was impressed with their curriculum and low teacher:student ratio.

Our daughter loves to dance and another mommy referred me to Pacific Dance Studio in Irvine. She has been attending classes there for about 4 months and loves her teacher, Ms Nicole. From my observation, Ms Nicole is the best teacher for the girls ages 3-5. Also, registered students receive 20% off dancewear from the studio.

We are a Catholic family and our children all attend Religious Education (REP) classes. Thankfully, the church offers classes on Sundays during the 8:30a Mass time for our preschool and Kindergarten children. Our 1st grader attends on a different day during the week which allows him to attend Mass with us on Sunday mornings. The classes are affordable for 3 kids...$180 for the entire school year. The teachers are volunteers at the church...the preschool teacher was actually our student when we taught the preschool class about 13 years ago.
